Meditation for Everyone

Welcome!

Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Center serves northeast Florida  and southeast Georgia from our main Center in Atlantic Beach (Jacksonville) and branches in St Augustine and Palm Coast, with classes and events in other cities.

We are located in the Beaches area, only a few blocks from the ocean, just off Atlantic Blvd (I-10) in a small shopping center on Sailfish Drive, near restaurants and hotels. Our center features a beautiful shrine, seating for up to 50 people, and a bookstore and reception area where we enjoy tea, snacks and conversation after class.

Our offerings include classes on how to meditate, General Program Classes on a range of topics, more advanced FP/TTP classes, pujas (chanted prayers and meditations), workshops and day courses on practical application of Buddha’s teachings in daily life.  Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of background or tradition.
